The Sanctuaries of the Marian Route
The basilica of “El Pilar” stands on the right bank of river Ebro. The towers and domes that shape the exterior view make the basilica recognizable anywhere. One of the most important Catholic sanctuaries, is the first Marian temple in the world.

Torreciudad is located in a privilege location, in an perfect natural environment with great panoramic views over “Lake Grado”. This modern sanctuary is a meeting and pilgrimage point for thousands of people and it is one of the most visited places in the Pyrenees.

Surrounded by a privileged scenery and enclosed in a landscape of great natural beauty, the Sanctuary of Meritxell is a great discovery. The pope Francis granted the Sanctuary the title of Minor Basilica. One of the most visited places in Andorra.

THE ASSOCIATION FOR THE TOURIST PROMOTION OF THE MARIAN ROUTE
The APRM is an association non profit constituted by the shrines of Pilar, Torreciudad, Meritxell, Montserrat and Lourdes whose general purpose is the promotion of this Marian Route, its sanctuaries and the historical, artistic and natural ensembles of the regions where they are located.
